Biography

Dr. Andrew Barnosky is a professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, the Department of Learning Health Sciences and the Division of Anatomical Sciences in the Department  Surgery.  He is the past-Director of the Division of Anatomical Sciences in the Medical School which includes Michigan Medicine’s  Anatomical Donations Program, and the past chair of the Adult Ethics Committee for the University of Michigan Hospital and Arbor Hospice, and has a faculty appointment in the Center for Bioethics and Social Sciences in Medicine.  Dr. Barnosky is a graduate of the AT Still University - College of Osteopathic Medicine (Missouri), and holds a master's degree in public health and health policy from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
