Parkinson’s Movement and Dance Class

1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Please join in on this great opportunity for people with Parkinson's and their families/care partners.

In this six week class modeled after the Mark Morris Dance Group and the Brooklyn Parkinson Group's "Dance for PD" program, participants will explore music and movement in ways that are enjoyable, creative and stimulating.

This program is appropriate for anyone with PD, no matter how advanced. No dance experience is required.

When:

Saturday Afternoon, 1-2pm May2 to Jun 13 (no class May 23)

Cost for the 6 week class:
$30 per person/ $50 per couple
(scholarships available if cost prohibitive)

Alive Inside Film Screening for Big Hearts for Seniors Fundraiser

5:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Michigan Theater, 603 E. Liberty Street, Ann Arbor, MI

As part of a fundraiser to benefit local seniors, the award-winning documentary Alive Inside will be presented on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor. Prior to the movie, there will be live music by the Chenille Sisters. The event will be hosted by Rob Reinhart, producer of Acoustic Cafe.
