The training of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who will become the next generation of microbiologists and immunologists is a major part of the mission of the Department of Microbiology & Immunology. The Department offers Master's and Doctoral Programs in Microbiology & Immunology, while also providing courses for Dental, Medical and undergraduate students. We also have a strong affiliation with the Graduate Program in Immunology.
Master's Program
Our master's degree program pairs research with didactic training, tailored to meet the needs of each student. Research, Non-Research, and Thesis options are available.
Doctoral Program
An integrated program of independent research, graduate courses, seminars and teaching designed to challenge students to develop and express their intellectual, research talents, and teaching abilities. Creative and innovative research is the hallmark of this program.
