Lori Isom, Ph.D, Assistant Dean for Recruitment and Pre-candidate Graduate Education, Director of PIBS, Professor of Pharmacology, Professor of Molecular and Integrative Physiology
As the director of PIBS, Lori is involved in all aspects of the program, from recruiting and admissions, and securing funding for students, to counseling and career development. She continuously evaluates and seeks out ways to improve PIBS through the curriculum,interaction with faculty and the greater university, and expanding the degree-granting program offerings. Victor DiRita, Associate Dean for Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies and Professor of Microbiology and Immunology

Lisa Gubaci, Assistant Director
Lisa oversees all aspects of our operations in PIBS and across all of Graduate and Postdoctoral Programs. She's our number one expert for administrative questions.
Michelle Melis, Director of Student Life
Michelle works closely with Rackham Graduate School to coordinate admissions and classes for PIBS. She'll be your cruise director from the moment you step on campus. Michelle also performs office financial functions, including accounting and student funding and financial records.
Lisa Fletcher Garber, Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment
By now, you may have already met with Lisa. She represents PIBS at on- and off-campus informational events and wants to talk with you about considering U-M, applying and succeeding in graduate school.
Josh Daniels, Recruitment Coordinator
Josh teams up with Lisa with recruitment and admissions efforts on campus and on the road. He coordinates PIBS communications that will offer the latest-and-greatest information and advice.
Helena Bentley, Administrative Assistant
Helena provides support for the PIBS office and manages PIBS 503. She is the first person you see in the PIBS office, the friendly voice you hear on the phone, and the email liaison for the office. If you haven't heard from her yet, you will soon!
