Postdoctoral Fellows

Laboratory Supplies

The University of Michigan Medical School’s postdoctoral program consists of over 600 scholars from all of the basic science and clinical departments.  Our focus is to help each fellow become a successful, independent scientific professional.  To assist, the Office of Postdoctoral Studies serves as a home base for postdocs, providing on-going career development opportunities and a sense of community.

The University of Michigan Postdoctoral Association represents postdoctoral fellows across campus. The UMPDA bridges the training gap between the laboratory and the changing culture of biomedical science, augments the professional development provided by faculty mentors and is a forum to identify and address specific needs.
