    Dr Douglas Colquhoun is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Michigan. He joined the faculty of University of Michigan in 2019. Douglas is board certified in Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine and Clinical Informatics.
    Clinically his work focuses on the care of patients undergoing major inpatient surgery. His research interests are in the application of informatics approaches to further perioperative research and clinically in the understanding postoperative pulmonary complications. He serves as an associate research director Multicenter Perioperative Outcomes Group (MPOG), a international anesthesia research collaborative based at the University of Michigan. He has lead current and recent research work supported by the National Institutes of Health and industry partners.
