Critical Care Fellowship

Welcome to the Anesthesia Critical Care Medicine (ACCM) Fellowship at the University of Michigan. We offer seven ACGME accredited fellowship positions each year. We accept six anesthesiologists for a one-year fellowship and have approval from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) to offer one, two-year ACCM training position for emergency medicine (EM) physicians. Along with most other ACCM programs in the country, we participate in the San Francisco Matching Program in our fellow selection process.

To apply for a fellowship position, please submit the following documents in addition to the materials required via the San Francisco Match (application and 3 Letters of Recommendation; one being from the current Program Director):

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Photo
  • Copy of In–Training Exam (ITE) Scores
  • Copy NBME/USMLE transcripts

The University of Michigan offers highly competitive salaries and tremendous benefits to our residents/fellows. An overview of salary, benefits and employment eligibility is available on the GME Office website, under "Prospective Residents/Fellows".
