Adult Preoperative Clinic - Domino's Farms
The Preoperative Clinic seeks to insure that your overall medical condition is the best it can be prior to encountering the stresses of anesthesia and surgery. The anesthesiologist is uniquely qualified to assess your fitness to undergo anesthesia and surgery, and can address any special questions or concerns you may have. We do not see all patients scheduled for elective surgery. Instead, your surgical team will determine whether a visit to the perioperative anesthesia clinic is warranted. Division of Obstetric Anesthesiology - Women's Birthing Center
The Division of Obstetric Anesthesiology is located on the fourth floor of the Women's Birthing Center. Twenty-four hour, comprehensive anesthesiology services are provided for labor and delivery, scheduled and emergent cesarean sections, and other obstetric surgical procedures including in-vitro fertilization, dilation, curettage, postpartum tubal ligations, and cerclage.
The obstetric anesthesia team includes both physicians and nurses who work closely with the woman in labor and obstetric care providers to discuss pain management options. Other members of the team include resident physicians, obstetric anesthesiology nurses, a pharmacist and research assistants.
