Areas of Interest

My current research project focuses broadly on understanding mechanisms of HIV infection and host restriction of the virus. I am interested in biochemically and structurally characterizing interactions between host and viral proteins and RNAs. These interactions are critical for viral replication and inversely, inhibition of this replication.
