Greg Dodge of the Janet Smith Lab successfully defended his thesis, "Structural and Biochemical Studies of Polyketide Synthase and Fatty Acid Synthase Dehydratase" on June 6, 2018. Greg accepted a postdoctoral position in Boston with Barbara Imperiali and Laura Kiessling at M.I.T. He will investigate the specificity of human lectins for commensal and pathogenic microbes with the aim of developing tools for rapid identification of microbes. Congratulations Greg!
