Biallelic mutations in DNA ligase 1 underlie a spectrum of immune deficiencies

Tom Jurkiw of the O’Brien Lab contributed to the discovery of new mutations in DNA ligase I that cause immune deficiency. Tom joined an international team of clinicians, geneticists and immunologists to shed new light on this disease. Tom’s ongoing research investigates how these mutations alter the multi-step ligation mechanism. To read more, click HERE.
