The entire department is encouraged to make every effort to attend the Departmental Events scheduled for Thursday, April 25, 2019.  
 
Our Distinguished Alumni Lecturer this year will be Dr. Pimchai Chaiyen.  Her seminar is scheduled for 12:00 PM Noon in South Lecture Hall, Med Sci II.   Dr. Chaiyen was a graduate student with Dr. David Ballou and Dr. Vincent Massey (Ph.D. in 1997).  Currently, Dr. Chaiyen is Professor and Head, School of Biomolecular Science and Engineering, VISTEC, Wangchan Valley, Rayong, Thailand.
 
 
Immediately following Dr. Chaiyen’s seminar is the Presentation of Awards at our catered Departmental Reception which will be held in the PIBS GAP Lounge area on the 2nd floor of the Taubman Health Sciences Library at approximately 1:15 pm.  Please mark your calendars and plan to attend these important departmental events.
