Congratulations to Elizabeth Abshire, Ph.D.

Elizabeth Abshire, Ph.D., co-mentored by Ray Trievel, Ph.D. and Aaron Goldstrohm, Ph.D., successfully defended her thesis, “Structural and Functional Characterization of the Human Enzyme Nocturnin”, on April 3, 2019.

Elizabeth Abshire, Ph.D., co-mentored by Raymond Trievel, Ph.D. and Aaron Goldstrohm, Ph.D., successfully defended her thesis, “Structural and Functional Characterization of the Human Enzyme Nocturnin”, on April 3, 2019.  Elizabeth has accepted a postdoctoral position with Lynne Maquat at the University of Rochester.  She will be studying the role of the RNA-binding protein Staufen in regulating the cellular ER-stress response checkpoint.  Congratulations Elizabeth!
