Chase Weidmann, Ph.D., has accepted an offer to be an Assistant Professor of Biological Chemistry and a Scholar in the Center for RNA Biomedicine at the University of Michigan. Chase and his wife Brittany Bowman are both alumni of the Biological Chemistry Ph.D. Program and plan to relocate to Ann Arbor this summer from St. Louis, where they are currently members of the Major lab at the Washington University School of Medicine. Chase plans to build a research program aimed at elucidating long non-coding RNA function, using a range of cutting-edge chemical and bioinformatics technology. Welcome to Chase and Brittany!
