Audrey Seasholtz, a professor in the Biological Chemistry Department and research professor in the Michigan Neuroscience Institute, has been awarded a 2021 Teaching Award from the Endowment for Basic Science (EBS). Audrey has long been a leader in the Neuroscience Graduate Program, with commitments to DEI engagement, mentoring, oversight of the NIH R25 training grant "Increasing URM Diversity: Targeting Transitions in the Neuroscience Education Continuum", and directing course modules, and she also makes significant contributions to teaching in the Biological Chemistry Department. Audrey and fellow awardees in the medical school will be honored at an award ceremony on November 17. Congratulations Audrey!
