Renke Tan has received a Barbour Scholarship from the University of Michigan

Renke Tan, a Ph.D. student mentored by Dr. Yan Zhang, has received a Barbour Scholarship from the University of Michigan for the 2022–23 academic year. This award provides recognition and funding for women of the highest academic and professional caliber from countries encompassing the region from Turkey in the west to Japan and the Philippines in the east to study science, medicine, mathematics, and other academic disciplines. Awardees receive full tuition and a graduate student stipend during the tenure of the fellowship. Congratulations Renke!
