Kailyn Jessel won an award for her presentation at the ASM Conference on Biofilms

Kailyn Jessel, a Ph.D. student mentored by Dr. Matthew Chapman, received the Biofilm Journal Award for Best Presentation for her talk "Biofilm Subpopulation Profiles and the Role of Anaerobic Respiration" at the ASM Conference on Biofilms in November 2022. The award includes a voucher that will fully cover the article processing charges associated with publishing a paper in the journal Biofilm. Great job Kailyn!
