10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Virtual Meeting

The American Association for Cancer Research will hold a special conference focused on emerging data in basic, clinical and epidemiologic research related to COVID-19 and cancer.

COVID-19 has altered our approaches to caring for patients with cancer. The meeting will include discussion about the negative ramifications related to cancer outcomes and psychosocial disorders and methods to mitigate these risks.

John Carethers, M.D., John G. Searle Professor and Chair of Internal Medicine, will be a featured speaker on panels discussing the increased incidence of severe COVID-19 in certain ethnic backgrounds and association with socioeconomic disparities.
