The 9th Annual Cancer Biology Program Retreat, to be held at Zingerman's Cornman Farms in Dexter, MI on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Elsa Flores, PhD, Associate Director of Basic Science; NCI Outstanding Investigator of Moffitt Cancer Center will be our keynote speaker. Dr. Flores' laboratory focus is to understand the p53 family pathway to target this pathway therapeutically in cancer. As a basic scientist, Dr. Flores' lab has made important discoveries in understanding the functions of the p53 family and its family members. The overarching goal is to use this knowledge to target cancers with mutations in this pathway.

All retreat expenses will be paid for by the Cancer Biology Program for Cancer Biology Program faculty, graduate students, Cancer Biology T32 fellows, and postdocs in the labs of Cancer Biology faculty.
