Karen Lang

I’ve been working at the University since September 1996. I’ve worked in various roles within the UM mostly in financial positions until moving into the administrator role in CDB. I work a lot with the Chair/Associate Chair, Associate Administrator to help make CDB run smoothly and be a great place to work. I also coordinate department activities with the Medical School and other basic science departments.  My personal goals for my position are for everyone to feel included and a key member of the CDB team, have the tools needed to be successful, and be joyful in their work. In my spare time, I enjoy playing hockey (my husband and I play on the same team on Friday nights (date night!)), hiking, baking/eating (they go hand in hand), and spending time with my family and friends.
