Congratulations to Melanie Ohi and Bing Ye!

Congratulations to Dr. Melanie Ohi and Dr. Bing Ye on being elected as 2021 Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science!

Dr. Ohi was recognized for her "contributions to the field of structural biology, particularly structure/function discoveries about secretion systems of pathogenic bacteria, and for expanding access to cryo-electron microscopy through education", and for expanding access to cryo-electron microscopy through education." Dr. Ye was recognized for "contributions to the field of developmental neuroscience."

With 22 fellows in the AAAS class this year, U-M holds the highest number of faculty elected.
