Biography
Xiaoman did her undergraduate at Hebei University and continued to purse a PhD at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. During graduate school, Xiaoman realized that different brain regions or types of neurons have very different structure and function, and connectivity among them is critical for brain function. To achieve this, technology innovation is very important.
She has now joined the Cai lab and will be working on some of the most advanced technology that can label different neurons at the same time by multi-colors, and distinctly observe connections between neurons. Xiaoman is looking forward to meet many new friends and enhance her scientific research.
