Biography

Usha provides analytic support for various research projects at Center for Healthcare Outcomes and Policy (CHOP) since 2016. She analyzes health care claims data such as Medicare, OPTUM, MarketScan and SEER Medicare for health policy related research. Her experience includes hierarchical models, difference in difference analysis, regression discontinuity design and survival analysis. She has co-authored several research papers in academic journals. SAS and Stata are the main programs she uses for data management and statistical analysis. In addition to CHOP, Usha also works at Michigan Value Collaborative as an analyst.  Her prior work experience includes working as data analyst at Michigan Medicine Addiction Research Center and University of Michigan School of Nursing after graduating from The University of Michigan School of Public Health with MPH degree in Epidemiology.
