12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Towsley Center, G24002

Scott Kelley, MD presents "Bootcamps: Perspectives from Family Medicine"

Scott Kelley, MD is Assistant Professor, Department of Family Medicine. In this session, Dr. Kelley will share his insights on the development and implementation of simulation-based 'bootcamp' training sessions for family medicine trainees.

To promote collaboration and best practices in simulation-based education and research, the UMCSC is hosting a monthly Brown Bag Series. The series is intended to allow all University faculty, staff, and learners the opportunity to learn and share best practices in simulation-based education and assessment. The series offers something for everyone, with a broad range of topics relating to simulation-based education in medicine.  Presentations will range from projects considered “in-development” from junior educators/researchers to presentations about successfully implemented curricula from the CSC Core faculty. Each session offers attendees the opportunity to gain insights and contribute to a dynamic discussion in a non-intimidating, friendly setting.

UMCSC Brown Bag Series is scheduled from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. monthly on select days in the Clinical Simulation Center (located in the Towsley Center, G2400).

For any inquiries/comments, or you would like to present at the CSC BB Series, please contact Deb Rooney, Director of Education and Research, Clinical Simulation Center (
