CSC Brown Bag Series - January 2018

(All day)

G2400 Towsley Center

“Take-aways & Lessons Learned from IMSH 2018: 3 Perspectives” Presented by Deborah Rooney, PhD and James Cooke, MD and Erik Alderink.

In this session, CSC faculty and staff will give review IMSH (International Meeting on Simulation and Healthcare) from their own perspectives, supplying lessons learned from sessions they attended, along with reviews of new products, and updates from the world of simulation-based education.

To promote collaboration and best practices in simulation-based education and research, the UMCSC is hosting a monthly Brown Bag Series. The series is intended to allow all University faculty, staff, and learners the opportunity to learn and share best practices in simulation-based education and assessment. The series offers something for everyone, with a broad range of topics relating to simulation-based education in medicine.  Presentations will range from projects considered “in-development” from junior educators/researchers to presentations about successfully implemented curricula from the CSC Core faculty. Each session offers attendees the opportunity to gain insights and contribute to a dynamic discussion in a non-intimidating, friendly setting.

UMCSC Brown Bag Series is scheduled from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. monthly on select days in the Clinical Simulation Center (located in the Towsley Center, G2400).

For any inquiries/comments, or you would like to present at the CSC BB Series, please contact Deb Rooney, Director of Education and Research, Clinical Simulation Center ([email protected]).
