Research Interests
Our lab is interested in understanding the links between obesity and inflammation and how this impacts human health. We are interesting in studying the biology of inflammatory cells that reside in fat and identifying their regulator features. We are particularly interested in the role that adipose tissue macrophages (ATMs), adipose tissue T cells, and other leukocytes play in the biology of adipose tissue. Translational, pre-clinical, and bioinformatic approaches are used in the lab.
