DEI Statement

I have been very fortunate to enjoy highly supportive and inclusive learning environments throughout my academic career, and strive to pass on the same opportunities to a diverse group of trainees. Our lab is based on an egalitarian and collaborative culture, where all group members can mutually learn from and mentor each other.

Research Interest

Our lab integrates biomolecular and materials engineering, bioanalytical chemistry, and molecular biology to develop technologies for therapeutic and diagnostic applications. Our main focuses are (1) engineered multifunctional RNA therapeutics; and (2) development and translation of ultrasensitive single-molecule detection technologies for clinical diagnostics in cancer and other diseases.
