chaperone action, chaperone discovery, directed evolution, nicotine addiction

Research Interests

We are interested in host factors that are involved in protein folding, including chaperones and factors such as SERF that facilitate amyloid formation. We use a range of genetic, biochemical and biophysical tools including crystallography and NMR. We are also interested in directed evolution to evolve enzymes to tackle the problem of nicotine addiction.
