DEI Statement
We actively encourage research training by individuals of all backgrounds. We recently helped transition people with lesser or older experience to become active in research, and had successful graduates move on to diverse roles with their degree. Throughout, we insist on rigorous academic training in your degree program as the foundation for success.
Research Interests
We study mechanisms of genomic instability and chromosomal rearrangement, including DNA repair pathways and how damage and mutagenesis are influenced by replication and transcription. We use model organisms, mammalian cell culture, genomic and bioinformatics approaches.
