3D & Innovations Lab

The new 3DI Lab is located in Medical Science Building II

Staffed by a team of Biomedical Engineering (BME) students, the 3DI Lab supports the development and production of novel teaching tools, skills trainers and simulators.

Under the supervision of CSC Director of Education and Research in Simulation, Deborah M. Rooney, PhD, the 3DI BME team works with faculty, residents and students to design, prototype, test and refine these projects.

The dedicated 3DI Lab space is located next door to the CSC Med Sci II occupies approximately 650 square feet in Medical Science Building II and includes a collaborative workspace, tool and material storage, as well as two uniquely functioning 3D printers.
