Deb Rooney, PhD co-leads face shield production in 3DI Lab

Dr. Rooney and U-M collaborators produce face shields to meet the COVID-19 demand for personal protective equipment

Dr. Rooney, the CSC's Director of Education and Research, led a team in the U-M Clinical Simulation Center's 3D & Innovations Lab to print the head piece component of face shields. CSC collaborators included the CSC Director of Operations, Niles Mayrand, and biomedical engineering students Dylan Rushton, Saumya Gupta and Allie McCann.
