Areas of Interest

Recent projects include an update to the Liger package, initially published by Joshua Welch. The algorithm works to integrate data from different single cell data modalities, and I worked on an application to extend it to include unshared portions of the data. For instance, it operates on gene-centric features to combine RNA and ATAC data sets, but one application of the additional matrix piece would function in such a way as to allow integration of the intergenic ATAC peak information. It could also be potentially extended to cross-species and spatial analysis data.
