Areas of Interest
In Eric’s past research he developed a software pathway to print 3D molecular models. He also worked in a lab where he learned ImageJ and using micro scripting language to automate the data processing of a colorimetric assay that another student had developed to study the binding of DNA aptamers to thrombin. He is currently worked in Dr. Lisa Ryno’s lab, focusing on the elucidation of novel antibacterial targets in order to combat the growing problem of antibiotic resistance in bacteria.
