Areas of Interest

While an undergrad, Evan spent his time focused on working with Perl and R to process and analyze genomic and proteomic data. He was able to take the concepts that he learned in Perl and applied them to SQL.  Evan’s research experience focused on the studying the effects of mycorrhiza and plant growth promoting bacteria (PGPB) on maize growing in heavy-metal contaminated stamp soil. The research that he conducted gave him knowledge and experience with proteomics, metabolomics, and different data analysis methods.
