Areas of Interest
My research involves modeling the dynamics of genome organization in cells and studying how these dynamics influence cell fate in differentiation, cell reprogramming, and cancer. To study this, I analyze genome structure and function over time, an area known as the 4D Nucleome, which involves the integration of time-series Hi-C and RNA-seq data. Most recently, I've been working on developing a computational framework for characterizing the pathogenesis of obesity and insulin resistance, incorporating spatially-resolved and single-cell gene expression data.
