Areas of Interest
My research focuses on developing novel bioinformatics tools for the analysis and interpretation of metabolomics data. To this end, we take a pathway-agnostic, network-based approach to build partial correlation networks directly from the experimental data. This methodology is also adapted for performing differential network analysis. I am primarily interested in the metabolic rewiring taking in individuals predisposed to Type 2 Diabetes development and utilizing this information to build classification models.
