Areas of Interest

Based on my experience in analyzing single-cell datasets, a recent project focused on attempting to identify the skeletal cell population in mouse bone marrow by integrating
multiple scRNA-seq and snATAC-seq datasets. Interested in a specific biological aim and cell population, the team then had to get over multiple challenges including filtering
low priority and spurious cell populations, identifying significant marker genes and enriched, specific known motifs for the unknown stem cell population. To address these challenges, I adopted multiple computational methods such as HOMER and MACS2 to help push the project forward.
