Boyle Lab Wins CAGI5 Challenge

The Boyle Lab wins first place as the top performer in the CAGI5 Challenge to identify functional non-coding variation.

Congratulations to the Boyle Lab for winning first place as the top performer in the CAGI5 Challenge, to identify functional non-coding variation and outperforming teams using a wide array of methods such as DeepSea and deltaSVM! This is a set of competitions like DREAM but associated with ISMB and focused solely on genetic variation.  "Our approach was using our new RegulomeDB predictor being developed by Shengcheng Dong in the lab (a 3rd year Bioinformatics PhD student). We're excited to add to the methods competition winning groups on the hall!" -Alan Boyle
