Sriram Chandrasekaran Receives Dreyfus Foundation Award

The Dreyfus program for Machine Learning in the Chemical Sciences and Engineering, initiated in 2020, provides funding for innovative projects in any area of Machine Learning (ML) consistent with the Foundation’s broad objective to advance the chemical sciences and engineering. The Foundation anticipates that these projects will contribute new fundamental chemical insight and innovation in the field.

The Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation announced seven award recipients of the 2021 program for Machine Learning in the Chemical Sciences and Engineering, totaling $799,470. The Foundation anticipates that these projects will contribute new fundamental chemical insight and innovation in the field.

Our very own Sriram Chandrasekaran is among the seven awardees with his project, "Predicting Moonlighting Metabolic Regulators Using Mechanistic Deep Learning."  Congrats, Sriram !!
