The Office of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies recently presented the OGPS PhD Student Awards and both Jess Millar and Zena Lapp were recipients!
Jess Millar (Woods lab) was nominated for Excellence in Promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and her nominator writes:
“Jess is an innovative leader for DEI, especially for first-generation, economically disadvantaged, and LGBTQ+ students. They have researched & published on the subject completely on their own,
