Biography

Dr. Montoya received her medical degree from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and was a Chief Medical Resident at Pinnacle Health System in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Montoya completed a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at the U-M Geriatrics Center. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Her clinical interests include delirium and dementia, management of chronic medical problems in the geriatric population, and infection control in nursing homes.
