Dr. Lillian Min, Associate Professor in the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine, has recently had an article published in JAMA Network Open “Measurement of Fall Injury With Health Care System Data and Assessment of Inclusiveness and Validity of Measurement Models”. This article shares an open source method of using data from healthcare systems to capture fall injury, an important health outcome for older adults and a potential way to measure the success of health system quality improvement efforts.
