We encourage all applicants to contact us with any questions or to request a review of your application. We want to help ensure your funding success with the development of a competitive proposal. Email us at UMStenoNAF@umich.edu

Before Applying

The applicant must personally establish contact with a Principal Investigator (PI) at the desired Danish partner institution, who will be the applicant’s primary research contact for the duration of the fellowship. This will ensure placement at a hosting institution, should the applicant be selected for granting. The applicant should work with the host PI from the partner institution on the research proposal in the application, further the host PI will need to provide a letter of recommendation stating his/her commitment to hosting the applicant, and endorsement of the research project.

The applicant must also confirm with their home institution through a letter of commitment and recommendation by the home institution.

If you need assistance with how to find a contact at one of the Danish partnering centers, email us at UMStenoNAF@umich.edu and we will facilitate connecting you.

Applying

The application must be completed and submitted using NNF’s online application and grant management system, NORMA, which can be accessed from: https://norma.novonordiskfonden.dk

The applicant must submit the following through the NNF’s application system:

- CV

- Project description
