What made you choose EM as your specialty? During my surgery rotation in 2010, I had the opportunity of working in the EM Department as a house officer. It was at this time that I witnessed the successful and prompt management of very serious cases. My experience at the time quickly aroused my interest and I decided to pursue EM as a specialty. I found it to be a challenging but exciting specialty that would offer me the opportunity to build on my knowledge and improve my skills to provide excellent care for my patients.
How can EM help Ghana? It will help improve our emergency care services and help train qualified people to handle medical emergencies.
What are your research areas of interest? Pediatric Trauma, EMS, and Diabetic Emergencies
