Dr. Munzer is a Clinical Lecturer, in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Michigan Medicine. He joined the University’s Medical Education Fellowship after completing his training in Emergency Medicine with the University of Michigan/St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Residency Program.
He has an academic interest in Medical Education and Simulation. He is the Co-Founder of the Community of Medical Educators in Training (CoMET) here at the University of Michigan, which provides house officers with means to learn about medical education theory and curriculum design as well as create a community practice. Additionally, he serves as the Interim Simulation Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine and is a core faculty member in the Clinical Simulation Center.
His research interest is focused on improving education curricula for training programs as well as integrating technology in clinical simulation.
