What made you choose EM as your specialty? I chose EM as a specialty because I developed a passion for attending to emergencies during my housemanship training. I also realized the inadequacy of our management of emergencies therefore I saw an opportunity to help improve it.
During my housemanship training, I was exposed to the various inadequacies in our management of medical emergencies. I chose EM as a specialty because I developed a passion for attending to emergencies during that period and I also saw opportunities for improvement.
How can EM help Ghana? Developing a strong emergency health care system is very important in improving the image and health of a country. I believe the quality of emergency health care system of any country is also significant in encouraging foreign direct investments and the development of the tourism sector.
