With 15 research faculty, and another 40+ clinical faculty who engage in scholarly activities, the department has a robust research capacity.  Faculty, residents and fellows will share information about U-M EM research at the first annual William G. Barsan Emergency Medicine Research Forum on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.

 

Who:  All U-M Emergency Medicine faculty, residents, and fellows are strongly encouraged to attend.  Nurses, PAs, and  research staff are welcome!
What:  A celebration of department research and other scholarly activities.  A chance to gain a better understanding of the impact and full spectrum of U-M EM research. 
When:  Wednesday, April 27, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Where:  NCRC Research Auditorium (Building 10)

Continental breakfast and a buffet lunch provided.

 

About Dr. Barsan

This annual event is named in honor of Dr. Bill Barsan, founding chair of the U-M Department of Emergency Medicine and nationally renowned researcher in the area of stroke. Dr. Barsan will present the keynote address for this inaugural event.
