Dr. Nik Theyyunni is certified in emergency medicine. He received his MD from Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2010. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at University of Michigan/St Joseph Mercy Hospitals in 2014.
He joined the faculty at Michigan Medicine in 2014 and currently serves as co-director of Clinical Ultrasound and associate fellowship director of the Clinical Ultrasound Fellowship in the Michigan Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine.
During medical school and residency he has completed additional training in emergency applications of ultrasonography. Dr. Theyyunni’s academic interests include critical care/resuscitation ultrasound and the development of medical technology.
