Peter England, MD

Dr. Peter England is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Anesthesia Critical Care, Assistant Residency Program Director for the Emergency Medicine residency program, and is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.  He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where he served as a chief resident.  He then completed a fellowship in Anesthesiology Critical Care at the University of Michigan.  Dr. England is the Emergency Department lead for sepsis quality improvement.  His clinical and research interests include sepsis, mechanical ventilation and mechanical circulatory support.  He currently works clinically in the Emergency Department, ED-ICU and Cardiothoracic ICU.
