2017 Forum

On Monday, April 12, 2017 more than 150 Emergency Medicine faculty, staff, trainees, researchers, and more came together at the North Campus Research Complex for the Second Annual William G. Barsan Emergency Medicine Research Forum. Attendees were immersed in the innovative work being done within the department though oral presentations and a poster session.

Lynne D Richardson, MD

The forum began with a keynote presentation from Dr. Lynne D Richardson, Professor of Emergency Medicine and Population Health Science and Policy at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr Richardson shared insights from her career in research, policy, and advocacy. Twelve presentations by faculty and 38 posters rounded out the forum, providing an overview of the cutting-edge research being performed in our department.
